Dean Baker

MILLER COUNTY

Willard Dean Baker has served on the Gascosage board since 1991. He has spent most of his life in Miller and Pulaski Counties. Dean and his wife Nancy live north of Iberia, and are members of the Concord Christian Church.

In 1966 Dean was employed by the Fred Emmett/Dixon Ice Plant until he bought the Delano Service Station in 1970, which he operated until 1990. He then purchased the Village Shell Station in Iberia, which he operated until he sold it in April 1997. Dean is owner of Baker’s Tire Recycling, which he started in 1990 and serves customers in Missouri and Illinois. Dean is also a Vietnam veteran.

Deborah (Debbie) Krumwiede - Secretary

PHELPS COUNTY

Deborah (Debbie) Krumwiede first came to the area in 1967 as a child when her family bought river front property in Dixon. Moving to Phelps County in 2000 brought her and her husband Larry (Dean), daughter Kristal, and sons Larry and James closer to their family.

Debbie has over twenty years of experience in banking, with twelve of those years in management as an item processing manager and banking center manager. She was a member of three successful conversion teams, disaster recovery planning, and Banking Center of the Year. When she left the now Fifth Third bank in northwest Indiana to relocate to Phelps County Missouri, she was manager of the number one branch in Lake County, Indiana.

Debbie has received a commendation award from Crown Point School Corp for leadership and dedication, was on the board of directors of the Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana, judge for the scholarships of the Jaycees, and advisor for DeMolay.

Richard Yelton - Vice President

PHELPS COUNTY

Richard (Rich) Yelton is a lifelong resident of Doolittle. He is a 1981 graduate from Newburg High School and married Christy Anderson in 1992. They have three children, Hannah, Alan, and Anderson. Rich has worked for the U.S. Postal Service for the past 24 years. Rich served his community as a member of the Newburg R-II Schools Board of Education for 12 years, from 2000 until 2012. Rich enjoys spending time with his family and hunting and fishing.

James Humphrey - Treasurer

MARIES COUNTY

James Humphrey has served on the Gascosage Board from 1992 to 1999, and was reelected to serve in 2002. He is a lifelong resident of the Maries County area. He was employed at Fort Leonard Wood for 38 years, and is presently retired from civil service. James and his wife Pearl reside on their farm north of Dixon.

Donald Warnol - President

PULASKI COUNTY

Donald Warnol has been a lifelong resident of Dixon and graduated Dixon High School in 1975. After graduating from Dixon High School he sought a career in Masonry Construction and trained at a trade school for three years that included blue prints and estimating and achieved Journeyman Mason. In 1998, he became involved with fish farming and aquaculture, and started his current business of Warnol Valley Lakes Fish Farm, L. L. C. and has farmed a cow/calf operation since 1982. In 1986, he purchased the family farm that had been owned by his father the late W.T. Warnol. Donald currently resides on the farm with his wife, Tina and son, Chad. Chad is a senior at Dixon High School. Besides Chad, their youngest child, he has two daughters, Renae (Warnol) Engelmeier and Lacey Smith and has four grandchildren.

Donald has belonged to Arlington Lodge #346 for 28 years during this time he served as Master of the Lodge twice and currently holds the position of Secretary. In 1998, he became involved in the Missouri Aquaculture Association and set as a board member from 2005 to 2008. The fish farm business has allowed Donald to be involved with some very special people including the Missouri Veterans Home, Waynesville/Fort Leonard Wood special needs children’s program sponsored by the Kiwanis Club and the Missouri Department of Conservation, Transitional Living Group Home of Rolla and other special groups.

Alice Carlton

PULASKI COUNTY

Alice Carlton has lived in Pulaski County most of her life. She and her husband Rick reside in her grandparents, Tom and Blanche Taff, third generational home. After graduating from Dixon High School, she attended SMSU and obtained a BS in Education, and later received additional certification. Alice retired from the Crocker RII School District after 36 years of teaching. She spent 20 years teaching middle school math and science. Alice later moved to teaching elementary students because she wanted to give students a stronger foundation for success. Alice served as Summer School Administrator for over 20 years. Under her supervision the attendance, course offering and student success increased. During her career she served in many leadership roles, receiving additional awards and recognition.

Today Alice serves on the University of Missouri Extension Board of Directors and Public Water District Number Three Board of Directors. She works part-time at Crocker Elementary School and volunteers at Loving Paws animal shelter located in Crocker.

Luther Riddle II

PULASKI COUNTY

Luther A. Riddle II is a lifelong resident of Pulaski County and a 1988 graduate of Dixon High School. After graduation, Luther sought a career with Walmart Stores Inc. where he has been employed for the past 24 years.

During his career with Walmart he has been successful in managing growth objectives nearing 100 million dollars and 103% in growth increases. Luther’s training has consisted of Harvard Leadership, Assessing & Rating Performance, Management Strategies, Diversity in Leadership, Minorities in Leadership, Women in Leadership, HAZMAT and Labor Relations.

Mr. Riddle and his family currently reside on a family farm near Dixon. He is the son of the late Luther A. Riddle who helped establish and develop Gascosage Electric Cooperative. Luther A. Riddle served as the General Manager for 41 years from April 1946 to May 1987. Norma Riddle, Luther’s mother, served on the Gascosage Electric Cooperative Board of Directors for nearly 24 years from September 1991 to March 2015.

Luther is currently a member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, Pulaski County Landowners Association and Missouri Farm Bureau. He also serves on the Dixon R-1 Board of Education.

Jacob (Jake) H. Warren

MARIES COUNTY

Jake was appointed to the Board in June 2000. He retired from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corporation after 37 years of service. He earned a Quality Engineering Degree and an MBA, which led to several executive positions. He retired as Director of Productivity, Quality Assurance and Facilities Management of the St. Louis Division.

Through the course of his career with McDonnell Douglas, Jake had opportunities to meet with some very important world leaders. He also served as a Quality Assurance Supervisor on the Mercury and Gemini Space Programs throughout the 1960’s.

Jake and his wife, Wanda, are both lifelong residents of the Dixon area. They now reside at their home in rural Dixon.

Ronnie Wiles

MILLER COUNTY

Mr. Wiles is a life-long resident of Maries and Miller Counties. He was born and raised approximately 10 miles north of Dixon Missouri. He and his wife, Debbie live on a small farm west of Iberia, have been married for 30 years and have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. They own and operate the Iberia Fitness Center, which they opened in 2009.

Mr. Wiles has been in supervision most of his career, retiring from Missouri Vocational Enterprises (Department of Corrections) on January 1, 2018, with almost 22 years of service. During the last 4 years, he was coordinator over 8 factories throughout Missouri.
